This 3rd home buyer home was designed to suit the needs of its downsizer owners, looking to their future with a desire not to move again, but recognising the need to design for resale at a later date.
The owners wanted a home created that they would be comfortable in for the rest of their life, and extra height, additional features and creature comfort was all wrapped up in designing this home.
The entrance to the home is impressive with a large open staircase and feature void, with outlooks to a stunning garden courtyard and fishpond.
With the brief in mind, our designers focused on creating a large master wing to the rear of the ground floor, with outlooks to the pool and inbuilt fire pit in the backyard, with walk through dressing room and an ensuite as large as the master itself.
Easy access through a shopper’s entry from the garage at the front of the home leads through the laundry directly into the scullery and pantry which then opens into an expansive kitchen and living area. Extra height was given to the living room ceiling with bifold doors opening out to a huge decked alfresco area, overlooking the pool and fire pit.
Both water and fire featured in the design brief, with gas fireplaces created in the main and upper living areas.
The upper floor of the home encompasses three bedrooms each with own walk through robe and ensuite, with a separate sitting room and powder room leading from the spacious landing on the top floor.
