Transform your home with the perfect summer palette

Pindan Homes are masters of the perfect home design, so we’ve put together the top four elements we think will create the perfect summer palette this December.

The first signs of summer are bright and sunny mornings before 6am; a hint of the colours and textures we have to look forward to. Luscious living greens, simple earthy tones, geometric patterns and refreshing colour pops are truly the flavor of a WA summer, don’t you think?

Pops of Colour

This season it’s all about pastels and neutrals; moss-greens, rose-beige, dusty-greys and sea-greens. Pantone’s colour of the new year is “Living Coral,” which means shades of apricot and pink will be key colours in 2019, paired with soothing pastels, neutrals and contrasting greens. Who else is loving the ombre look for a subtle pop of colour in the bedroom?

Living Greens

Earthy Textures

The key to achieving a perfect combination of effortless chic, perfect for suburban or inner-city living, is simplicity. Homes To Love suggests that chalky, smooth, matte finishes visually soften an area while honey, mid-tone woods bring visual warmth. We think earthy tones tie in nicely with living greens and are always complemented by patterns and shapes.

Geometrics

Geometric décor is a great way to express your personality and modernise any space. Patterns draw the eye to a desired point of interest or they can set the tone for a room, like this Aztec rug in a minimalist living room below.
