Embarking on a home building or buying journey for the first time is a big venture and thanks to the State Government the process is made easier with a $10,000 WA First Home Owner grant.
Available to eligible first home buyers building or buying off-the-plan, or purchasing newly built homes, the grant is a much welcome handout available for purchases of homes in Perth up to the value of $750,000.
With My First by Pindan’s house and land packages starting from just $260,000 (or $230 a week), they fall within the grant’s home value requirements meaning first home buyers can use the cash boost towards the build of their new dream home.
To be eligible for the grant, the property must be ‘new’ and this is defined as a property that has never been lived in, or sold to another person.

  • Neither applicant has owned property in Australia before July 1, 2000
  • Applicants must use the home as a principal place of residence for at least six months within a year of the transaction.
