The brief on this home was to create a contemporary home with a focus on relaxed indoor/outdoor living downstairs and the sleeping quarters upstairs.
Keeping this in mind, our designers created an expansive feeling downstairs through the clever use of open plan design. Upon entry you are greeted with the “fun” aspects of the home in full view: the plunge pool and water feature, outdoor decking and BBQ nook meld seamlessly and interface with the internal dining/living area of the home through the generous use of glass sliding doors that enable easy indoor/outdoor transitions and natural cross flow ventilation. Both visually stunning and practical, the owners wanted to focus on creating an inviting outdoor entertainment area that invited the outdoor in within the limited space available. The galley kitchen looks out onto the alfresco decking and entertainment area, enabling mum to keep an eye on the kids playing in the pool or ensuring guests are within easy view.
Equally the upstairs area was cleverly designed as the quieter zone, with the private master wing with huge ensuite and walk in robe to the rear of the home that is also buffered from the 2nd and 3rd bedroom by a well sized study and sitting area in which to relax and unwind.
